Drive-By Prayer Attends Community Peace Event

Author: Joshua Manns

The third annual "National Night Out" peace rally invited Drive-By Prayer and leader, Pastor A. Thomas Hill, to join with other city and community leaders to pray and promote peace in the streets.

The event, having been scheduled for months, followed tightly on the heels of a local tragedy in which a masked gunman opened fire at a birthday party, killing 2 and wounding 6 others.  Pastor Hill, a guest speaker at the rally, referenced the shooting, stating that he "...does not consider it coincidence that this peace event would follow so closely on the heels of such a tragedy.", following that statement with a powerful prayer founded upon 2 Chronicles 7:14, the scriptural mantra of Drive-By Prayer Vigil.
