About Healing Streams Word & Worship Center

Healing Streams Word & Worship Center held its first service Easter Sunday, April 2003, at Pike Performing Arts Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.  For the first 14 months of the ministry, weekly services were held at the historic Madame Walker Theatre in the heart of downtown Indy.   The congregation has grown from 100 members to over 300 members todate.

In September, 2004, the Healing Streams family moved to their present worship facility located at 4751 Century Plaza Road.  The former Loews Theater building has provided ample worship and parking space for the many ministry programs offered through the ministry (click here for a list of ministries.)

In January, 2005, Healing Streams opened their administrative offices, located at 5525 Georgetown Road, Suite A.  The administrative offices are located approximately one mile from the worship center.

Healing Streams contributes its spiritual health to the discipleship process of  HOME GROUPS that meet throughout the city of Indianapolis twice monthly.  Home Group leaders share the charge of shepherding the flock through this effective hands-on ministry program.  (Click here for more info on Home Groups.)

The CARE MINISTRY was developed shortly after launching the ministry with the goal:  "no one falls through the cracks."  Care Coaches and Captains walk with each new member from entry to active involvement in a Healing Streams Home Group.

Healing Streams was built on the foundation of prayer.  Prayer Warriors were called together prior to the ministry launch to meet and pray with Pastor and First Lady Hill on Saturday mornings for clarity on the direction for the church.  Intensive weekly prayers birthed the ministry name, the scriptural foundation of Isaiah 35:1-7, and the prophetic images of how this ministry would serve the Kingdom of God.  Prayer continues to remain the foundation upon which we build.  The GAP Prayer Ministry, led by First Lady Hill, continues to fuel this pioneering effort.
